Bremerhaven International Summer School Course 2024:
“Changes, Challenges and Sensitivities in unpredictable times”

Program Objectives:

By the end of the course the students will have a better understanding of actual global trends and the corresponding internal and external dynamics of change in the socio-economic, financial, entrepreneurial and technological environments in a global, regional and intercultural context and be able to evaluate the global challenges and dynamic of change in this fields. https://www.hs-bremerhaven.de/ime

• Gaining and Establishing Global Citizenship
• Cultural Challenges and Changes in cross border Activities and Management.
• Global challenges related to the UN Sustainability goals
• Actual trends in International Trade and Business Relations
• Disruptive Innovations and new Business Models and their impacts to global Business relations
• Innovation tools and Management
• Essential Elements of Change and Communication of Change
• The Learning Organization & Appreciative Inquiry
• Understanding and Steering of Change Processes
• Chaos Theory & Complex-Adaptive Systems
• Economic crisis and crisis management
• Strategies of international companies in the global market place
• Actual Developments on the International Financial Markets

Learning Methods:

• Interactive lectures and workshop
• Case studies and project work in teams based on modern tools of learning methods
• Company visits and excursions to cultural places

Number of Scholarship for IC- KMUTNB Students to join the summer school:
• 2 scholarships (worth 2,450 EURO each)
(Include accommodation in shared rooms, breakfast and lunch, welcome and farewell parties, transport for excursions, and entrance fees.)

What students have to cover:

• Travel expense
• Personal expense
• Visa
• Insurance (per visa requirement)

Criteria:

• The applicant must be studying at International College of KMUTNB with ID 65 or ID 66
• Must demonstrate a good command of English
• Great personality and attitude
• Open to learn new culture, meeting and making friends from different backgrounds.
• Ready to explore and share new perspectives
